I don’t really have much to report lately. The days are blending into each other at the moment, in a sort of pre-Christmas haze. I don’t really have anything to say, don’t really have anything to do beyond get from one day to the next.
There’s an odd pleasure in this simplicity. Wake up, go to work, try not to suck, listen to Hunger Games on the way home, eat, play Dragon Age, sleep. I’m in stasis, waiting for something to happen, but I’m not dissatisfied with it.
Tomorrow’s workday starts an hour early, but if we’re lucky it’ll only be half as long. Then it’s bum around until I can be picked up by family on Christmas Eve.
Like the song says: I got no deeds to do, no promises to keep. I’m dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Watch this space.
