After a long hiatus, I’m settling back into writing and film-making, and for reasons that I’ll lay out in a future post soon, I’ve updated the website and will try to keep on top of it from now on.
Watch this space for a longer, more detailed update when I can crowbar in some time to write it!
Good news, horror-comedy fans! The crowdfunder for Hen Party Massacre is live, and we’re already speeding along towards our goal!
Hen Party Massacre is a female-led comedy-horror short that’s best described as a British ‘Bridesmaids meets Friday the 13th’. It’s boozy, it’s bloody, it’s sweary – and with your help, we can make it a damn fun little film.
There’s loads of great perks, and once the film is made and has been round all the festivals, we can look at getting the feature version made – more jokes! More gore! More dildo-fencing! Just as I always envisioned it!
The website overhaul was mostly prompted by the launch of my new services: Proofreading, Editing and Notes for Screenwriters!
I’ll proofread for typos and grammatical errors, I’ll check your formatting, I’ll make sure your script reads smoothly, and I’ll even edit for fluency so your action and dialogue read more naturally.
My comedy-horror feature script Hen Party Massacre was optioned by Arch 468 last year, and after much exciting deliberation and preparation we’ve decided to make a short version first! We’ll send it to festivals, get some buzz around it and use it to look for funding to make the feature version.
Look out for our crowdfunding campaign for the short on Greenlit, coming soon!
I’ve given the website a bit of an overhaul, tweaked some bits here, pruned some stuff there, generally mucked about with it to make it a tad more professional.
